What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be an exceptional designer, bringing innovation, speed, creativity, communication skills, and confidence to every meeting.
  • Participate in a six-month User Experience Design Project.
  • Dive into insights, empathy-mapping, and user journey mapping.
  • Collaborate closely with user researchers, engineers, product managers, and visual designers to create exceptional designs.
  • Contribute positively to the visual, verbal, and written aspects of design asset creation.
  • Develop user journey maps and information architecture for applications.
  • Throughout your internship, engage actively in the following areas:
    • Conduct market research to gain insights into application markets.
    • Conduct ethnography studies with end users.
    • Implement the Contextual Inquiry process to capture valuable user perspectives.
    • Brainstorm and conceptualize with team members from UX and engineering.
    • Create prototypes at low, medium, and high fidelity levels.
    • Generate documentation for product definition.
    • Review designs and prepare compelling reports.

What We Need to See:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters in Design program at a prestigious institute (e.g., IIT/NID).
  • Proficiency in conceptual design, prototyping, tactical UI design, and familiarity with the software development process.
  • A portfolio showcasing user experience projects in areas such as Desktop, Mobile, and Web Applications (Windows, Android, MacOS, iOS).
  • Experience in crafting sketches, mind maps, and storyboards for brainstorming.
  • An understanding of user issues, the ability to uncover insights, and a knack for detailed documentation.
  • Utilization of metrics and user research data to inform design decisions.
  • Ability to align design work with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in at least one prototyping tool such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with desktop and cloud documentation tools like Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
