Role Overview: As a Content Developer at IBM, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with web designers to transform mockup files into functional coded assets. You’ll be responsible for editing and coding HTML/CSS using our templates, creating responsive emails using tables, and engaging in light design work using editing software. We are seeking an individual who can work independently and collaboratively with our creative design team and other departments. This role demands the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, cater to multiple brands, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. This position is based in India and involves extensive interaction with clients and both onshore and offshore IBM teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable, templated HTML frameworks for various brands, ensuring optimization of fonts, colors, rendering, etc.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate mockups into responsive and functional emails.
• Understand upcoming campaign directions from the marketing team and manage data segmentation/distribution lists.
• Perform QA/testing using tools like Litmus and resolve any coding issues as needed.
• Deploy email test seeds to internal stakeholders for review.

Required Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of responsive email development principles.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS; JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
• Experience working with Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to integrate dynamic and personalized content elements into emails.
• Strong grasp of email best practices.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing emails across various browsers, platforms, and clients.
• Demonstrable examples of previous email coding work.
• Knowledge of Marketing Compliance is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
