Responsibilities :
- The Quality Engineer will partner with Developers, BI Analyst and Key Business leaders to understand their needs and then creates Automated/ Manual test cases to validate the developed solutions to make sure quality standards are addressed.
Required skills :
- Understanding on detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Able to understand Quality Metrics and status reporting.
- Able to implement test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Understanding Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Understanding in automated testing tools
- Good of SQL and scripting
- Knowledge on Agile/Scrum development process
- Technical Skills/Abilities
- Basics on Software QA methodologies & processes.
- Understanding on Automated testing tools like Selenium & Core Java/Python, HTML,JSON etc..
- Basic Manual Testing.
- Understanding QA Tools (TFS/ JIRA).
- Good of SQL queries.
